Monastic Leadership

THE ABBOT serves as the spiritual and administrative leader of our monastery, guiding the monks in their religious life and overseeing the daily operations. He provides personal counsel to each monk, assisting in their spiritual advancement and ensuring adherence to monastic rules to maintain discipline. Additionally, the Abbot represents our monastery in its external relations, fostering effective communication and collaboration with the wider community and other religious bodies. His role is vital to the welfare and functionality of our monastic community.

 

THE FORMATION DIRECTOR is responsible for the education and immediate oversight of those who have not made solemn vows he or she oversees their spiritual development and vocation discernment.

 

THE PROCURATOR is the treasurer and is charged with keeping track of the abbey's finances.
